Circa 1933 Faroid Company 75 Golf Ball - 'Faroid' 'This End Up'

The ball has raised concentric ridges. Stamped on each pole are the following words, "FAROID THIS END UP." With the equator bearing capital lettering LIQUID CENTER. The Faroid ball belongs to a group of highly collectible balls with unusual cover patterns. Invariably, these balls were commercial failures - thus their rarity. Apparently, the Faroid had to be teed correctly and struck at a certain angle to fly properly which probably limited its success once it was lying freely in the fairway. This example shows significant usage and is in only fair condition, but still very desirable due to its scarcity. A worthy addition to even the most advanced collection.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
