Circa 1900 Cann & Taylor Hand Forged Special Mid Iron - With Information Packet
John Henry Taylor was an English golfer who along with Harry Vardon and James Braid dominated British golf at the turn of the 20th century, earning them the nickname the "Great Triumvirate." Taylor won five Open Championships (1894, 1895, 1900, 1909, 1913) and was runner-up to Vardon at the 1900 U.S. Open. Taylor joined forces with George Cann, the Scottish clubmaker, to create innovative clubs. This lot features a mid iron that measures 35 1/2" from hosel to end and comes with an information packet for the bidder. Please see photos for condition.
