The name 'Haskell' has a ring to it for vintage ball collectors. Haskell was the first company to patent a golf ball made by wrapping rubber thread around a rubber core. The Haskell ball changed the face of the golf equipment market, and after making his mark in the early 1900's, Haskell sold the company in 1917.Haskell Bramble - 1899 Haskell patented first rubber wound ball, "Haskell Pat Apr 1, 1899" at both poles.
