Master crafting of this ball with Forgan-style hand hammer execution is proudly displayed on this fine exemplar from one pole to the other. Characteristic of this method pattering hammer marks run around the two poles, split by a thick equator line of individual squares around the entire circumference. The exceeding scarcity of this 150 year old golf ball cannot be emphasized enough, surfacing for auction only on occasion and this example straight from a mature, highly advanced collection.
