Champion Jon Rahm Signed 2021 US Open at Torrey Pines Personal Player Gift
Presented to the contestants in the 2001 US Open field was this jaw-dropping 8" x 3" x 4 1/2" metal statue of Torrey Pines tree overlooking sun commissioned by the USGA. Found on the nameplate of this work of art is the name that of the champion Jon Rahm, who would graciously sign the tree in silver above as well. The then new father Jon Rahm finished Father's Day weekend as he had hoped for, with good karma presenting him with the chance for victory after leading the Memorial Tournament only two weeks prior by five strokes after three rounds prior to withdrawing. Rahm would add a Masters win in 2023 to his resume, now a multi-time major champion. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
