Champion David Graham Signed 1981 US Open at Merion Tournament Used Caddy Bib
A major-winning caddie bib is impressively offered in this lot from David Graham's convincing three stroke US Open triumph at the historic Merion GC! David Graham became the first Australian to win the USGA's National Championship in 1981. Loyal to Graham and stride for stride with him up and down the fairway with Graham's clubs was caddie Wayne Beck donning this very caddy bib. Graham would finish three strokes ahead of runners-up George Burns and Bill Rogers. At the home of the red wicker baskets this bib followed the champion as a walking billboard, with the Graham nameplate framed just below. In appreciation, champion David Graham signed this bib to Beck below a personal message. 20 1/2" x 34." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
This item comes from the collection of the late Wayne Beck, a 45 year tour caddie who carried the bag for not only Arnold Palmer, but David Graham, Andy Bean, Fuzzy Zoeller, and many more.

2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
