Cary Middlecoff Signed 1957 'Advanced Golf' Book - Second Printing

Doctor Cary Middlecoff signed this copy of 'Advanced Golf' book on the white of the flyleaf in blue ink. Three-time major winner and dentist Cary Middlecoff won the 1955 Masters Tournament, slipping on the green jacket in between hoisting US Open trophies. The 1956 win was Middlecoff's second US Open win, having won in 1949. As mentioned in the initial 'About the Author' Middlecoff notched more wins on tour between his 1947 debut and this 1957 print date than any other golfer on the PGA Tour. Following his golf career he was unsurprisingly elected to The World Golf hall of Fame. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
