Byron Nelson Signed 1946 'Winning Golf' Book with Inscription
Presented here is the Byron Nelson's 1946 book 'Winning Golf' signed by Iron Byron on the flyleaf of this second edition. Byron dominated the PGA golf scene in the early 1940's leading to his penning "Winning Golf" in 1946. He was still a much sought after teacher and spokesman of the game some 27 years later when this edition of his treasured work was reprinted in 1973. The late Hall of Fame golfer, one of the most respected men in the history of the game both on and off the course, has personally signed in pen his autograph to this book. Inscription reads: "To Bob, Best wishes. Sincerely, Byron Nelson". Please note that there is a paper taped to the inside of the back cover
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
