Father of the modern day swing. Nelson won the Masters in 1937 and 1942, the US Open in 1939 and the PGA Championship in 1940 and 1945. In 1945 Nelson won 18 of 35 PGA tournaments including 11 in a row. This lot comes with a COA from James Spence (JSA) one of the leading authenticators in the business.

This item comes from the collection of JD Daniel. JD was one of the founding members of The First Tee and part of Arnold Palmer’s “Tour Turf” and Palmer Design. The First Tee is an internationally respected youth organization that promotes life skills & leadership through the game of golf. The Arnold Palmer Design Company has long been regarded as one of the premier companies in the golf course architectural industry. We have been given the opportunity to auction JD Daniel's entire collection of golf cards, flags, memorabilia, and various other items in this auction.

Session 1: Lots 1-500 will end on 4/11/13 and Session 2 Lots 500+ will end on 4/14/13 with extended bidding to start at 9:00 PM EST for both sessions. In order to bid in extended bidding you must place a bid on the lot before 9pm on auction closing day.
