Brooks Koepka's 2020 US Open Championship at Winged Foot Contestant Badge/Clip
Going in Brooks Koepka had 14/1 betting odds, with only three with lower odds, he was runner up just the year prior. It was official however, the third US Open would not happen for Koepka in 2020 when it was announced that he withdrew from the Winged Foot hosted USGA Championship. Koepka had been dealing with 'nagging hip and knee issues', forced to pull out of the Northern Trust tournament also which preceded it. Expecting his arrival and contesting of the tournament, The USGA produced this contestant badge with his name engraved across the nameplate in the dark font used that year just below the '2020' in shallow relief. The two-time US Open winner is a five-time major winner, picking up another title at the 2023 PGA Championship most recently. From appearing in Happy Gilmore 2 to winning on the course or showing up at Florida Panther hockey games, Koepka remains in the public's eye.
