Bronze Bobby Jones Post Swing Statue on Granite Plinth
Patented center part in the highly detailed face of Bobby Jones in this bronze sculpture of Jones post-swing perched atop a sturdy black granite plinth. The most influencial golfer of his day, Jones would complete the Grand Slam to retire from competitive golf on top after 13 major championships when Hollywood came calling - become an actor in the short instructional films and building his 'dream course' of Augusta National Golf Club. Artist's detail can be found not only in this Jones figure's face, but fingers and folds in his sweater and knickers, down to the shoe laces. The heavy brass statue is highly impressive. While adhered to the plinth, there is one foot that is free from the base as shown in the seventh photo. 6" x 6" x 8 3/4"
