Bobby Jones at Merion 1930 US Amateur 'Final Leg of Grand Slam' Original Oil on Canvas by Greg Rudd
This original oil on canvas painting by Greg Rudd, the exclusive licensed artist for the Jones family, shows a young Bobby Jones finishing his swing. Bobby is teeing off at the 1930 US Amateur, in his search for the final leg of golf's grand slam. The overall size of the piece including frame is 28"x32" with the canvas measuring 19 1/2" x 23 1/2". Mr Rudd is an expert in painting Bobby Jones and has done several different paintings of Bobby pursuing the Grand Slam. This painting has been signed by Greg in the bottom right hand corner.
Greg Rudd is classically trained, and world-renowned, his oils strive to capture the realistic truth of the subject.
