Bobby Jones Signed July 29, 1953 Letter - Family Money Content
Here is a letter from 1953 that was composed on Jones' Firm's letterhead. The content of this letter includes many of his family members, including his children and a breakdown of amounts of money that the individuals would be receiving. Bobby Jones left his signature "Bob" with black pen above his name at the end of the letter. 20 years prior to this letter Bobby Jones erected his dream golf course in Augusta and named it Augusta National Golf Club. That decision, whether it was for business or pleasure, ended up being one of the most important ones for professional golf in America to date and since. Jones didn't waste any time and started the Augusta National Invitation Tournament only a year later. This letter from the amateur golfer includes a FULL letter from JSA, which is #B60861.
