Bobby Jones Signed 1967 Shell's Wonderful World of Golf Peachtree Golf Club Gate Pass Ticket
Bobby Jones was Honorary Referee at his Peachtree Golf Club made-for-television clash of the titans Sam Snead versus Julius Boros at the club in which Jones co-founded which aired on February 25, 1967. A vintage paper gate pass for the television program Shells Wonderful World of Golf, hosted at the Peachtree Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. It features a hand-signed autograph in blue ink signed as Bob Jones. The front also contains a Jones' hand-written inscription in blue ink reading Best wishes, Walt Kessler. The reverse side of the tag is hand-written in green ink with the name and address Walt Kessler, 1664 Sussex Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. The Kessler family was long time residents of Atlanta and owners of the well known department store by the same name in downtown Atlanta. Badge presents in Ex-Mt condition free from surface creasing.
