Bobby Jones Signed 1952 Letter to Coca-Cola Manager w/ IKE Mention on Letterhead PSA Gem Mt 10
Written from Bobby Jones to Mr. Rufus E. Brown Manager of Coca-Cola Bottling Co of Rutland, Vermont on September 23, 1952: "I am still batting the ball for IKE, but have been pleased by your latest report. You keep attending in that and I will work on my end." Bobby Jones' investment in numerous bottling facilities of in his hometown, Atlanta soda company is well documented. The deal would be made following being captured behind the cameras at the Warner Brothers Hollywood filming in 1931. Great friend of Jones', United States President and Four-Star General Dwight D. Eisenhower (IKE) made 45 voyages to Augusta National Golf Club as a member, routinely golfing alongside Coca-Cola executives. Signed by Jones with interesting content and recipient is this PSA encapsulated letter on Jones' Law Firm letterhead concluded with a PSA 10 AUTO 'Bob' to close acquaintance.
