A staple in three-dimensional golf art is unquestionably this Ron Tunison (American, 1946-2013), Bobby Jones, Patinated Bronze Sculpture. This sculpture depicts the legendary American amateur golfer Bobby Jones captured in a high follow-through pose. The heavy 13 1/2 lb. figure is realistically and handsomely modeled in vintage golfing attire consisting of a V-neck sweater over a collared shirt, knickerbockers, and knee-high socks. The work is executed in patinated bronze with a dark brown finish, featuring an integral circular base with a textured ground surface. The sculpture is perched atop a polished circular marble plinth with a black felt-covered underside. The artist's signature is incised on the bronze base near the figure's rear foot, reading Ron Tunison followed by a copyright symbol and the date 91 (1991). Add depth and quality to your display.
