Bobby Clampett's Personal Used Spalding Custom Made 'B.C.' Stamped Pitching Wedge
This vintage Spalding Custom Made pitching wedge is a specialized golf club featuring a forged steel blade-style head. The upper portion of the club head is stamped with the manufacturer name SPALDING and the club designation PITCHING WEDGE. The lower back of the club head displays a stylized heraldic logo featuring two rampant animals positioned back-to-back above the words Custom Made in script. The initials B. G. are stamped above the script text. A significant layer of dark, textured material, likely lead tape or heavy adhesive used for professional swing-weight customization, has been applied to the back of the club head. The black ferrule at the junction of the head and shaft is stamped with the serial number B130790. The club features a stepped steel shaft and a black rubber Swing-Rite grip with a green chevron pattern.
