Billy Casper Signed 2011 Masters Embroidered Flag with '1970' Notation
Offered in this lot is a 2011 Masters Flag single-signed by the late champion Billy Casper, who defeated the field in the 1970 tournament. Caspers addressed the middle of the logo with his name and added the inscription '1970' in black sharpie. The three-time Major winner won the 1970 Masters by five strokes over Gene Littler in a playoff, the final 18-hole playoff when Augusta National changed to a sudden-death format in 1976. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their certificate of authenticity will come with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, September 20th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
