Ben Hogan & Arnold Palmer Signed Cuts with 1960 Masters Smoking Photo Display - Framed
Bearing black ink signatures from Bantam Ben and The King is this 1960 Masters color photo of the two smoking prior to their tee shots. Arnold Palmer won his fourth and final Masters for Arnie's Army in 1964, eclipsing Demaret and Snead's three titles. Hogan left a major impact on the game of golf with his swing theory and meticulous preparation. His legendary career ended with nine major championships, tied for fourth all-time, and he is one of only five golfers to win each Major and complete the career Grand Slam. Hogan won the Open Championship in his only attempt in 1953, the U.S. Open in 1948, 1950, 1951, 1953, the Masters Tournament in 1951 and 1953, and the 1946 and 1948 PGA Championship. This iconic shot was captured at the perfect angle and time, an iconic one of the two cool customers. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
