This first edition 1948 tutorial on golf by Ben Hogan was highly acclaimed. A classic just like the player himself whose nine career professional major championships tie him (with Gary Player) for fourth all-time, trailing only Jack Nicklaus (18), Tiger Woods (14) and Walter Hagen (11). Furthermore, he is one of only five golfers to have won all four major championships currently open to professionals (the Masters Tournament, the British Open, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship), the other four being Nicklaus, Woods, Player, and Gene Sarazen. This 1st edition book remains in very good condition with only slight wear and a vintage pen signature on the flyleaf page. The ever precise Hogan was just that in forming his signature inside.
