Ben Hogan 1953 Commemorative Oil Hardened Persimmon Driver
This vintage golf club is a 1-wood driver manufactured by the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. The club features a dark-stained wood head and striking red insert. The crown of the head is incised with a cursive signature reading Ben Hogan. The grip is a traditional dark brown leather wrap. This model was produced to commemorate Ben Hogan's 1953 season, during which he won the Masters, the U.S. Open, and the British Open. The exact date of manufacture is not clear but likely made in the 1970’s. 43 1/2"
