In 1996 a Texas-sized battle in and for their home state broke out at The Champions Club in Houston between Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite. The second of six installments of the made-for-television Shells Wonderful World of Golf for the year was quite intriguing with the major champions just a year removed from Crenshaw's emotional second win at Augusta after the passing of his teach and accomplished writer Texas' Harvey Penick. This offering includes a hat from that event with the presenting sponsor and duelers names along with two signed magazine covers (covers only) from Crenshaw and Kite along with the yellow ballmarkers that Shells were known for. In completion this lot includes: Tom Kite Signed October 23 1981 Golf World Magazine, (26) Shells Wonderful World Of Golf Ball Markers, Tee, & Shell's Wonderful World of Golf Hat.
