Ben Crenshaw & Carl Jackson Signed Caddy Nameplate w/Signed Masters Hat & Golf Ball

It was a highly emotional victory for Crenshaw, consoled by caddy Carl Jackson right by his side after the final putt went in in on the 18th green in1995. The week was more than just golf. Crenshaw's teacher and mentor Harvey Penick passed only days earlier. The working friendship had only become stronger in that moment. Two men that had been through a lot, both together and separate, were victorious as a team again. Commemorating the victory that changed Both Crenshaw and Jackson's lives, the former had this nameplate and velcro patches of the '1' produced for select friends and family in 1996, with the lowest number reserved for and signifying the previous champion after Jones himself stopped playing in 1948. The 'CRENSHAW' caddy nameplate in the same style in which Jackson wore is signed by both Ben Crenshaw and Carl Jackson in black sharpie staggering the name of the then two-time champ at Augusta, Jackson looping on both occasions. It would be a record 54 Masters Tournaments (1961-2015) in which Jackson patrolled Augusta National with course knowledge that couldn't be taught - imparting it on Crenshaw starting in 1976. Jackson is known as the Last Man Standing of the legendary Augusta National Golf Club caddies. The year 2023 would be the team's final chapter known as the 'Last Walk,' Jackson caddying for Crenshaw at the Par 3 Contest for his last stroll wearing the white caddie suit. This offering includes the dual signed caddy nameplate, along with the '1' and Masters logo patches found on the front of the suit annually along with a Crenshaw signed Masters hat with his 1984 & 1995 below inscription and a signed Titleist Pro 100 ball. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
