Augusta National Golf Club Sterling Silver Clubhouse Trivet

Presented in this lot is the prized trivet featuring a detailed clubhouse at Augusta National Golf Club depiction. The trivet's perimeter is lined with the names of the 18 holes on the course as well as the plants they are named after. The Augusta National clubhouse is believed to be the first concrete house built in the South. It was built in 1854 as the home of Dennis Redmond, owner of the indigo plantation that came before Fruitlands Nursery. It is the most famous clubhouse in golf and signifies the tradition and grandeur associated with ANGC and the Masters. This silver trivet is 7 1/8" in diameter and approximately 1/4" thick.
