Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus Signed Ltd Ed 1971 Ryder Cup "The King & Golden Bear II" Deluxe Serigraph
An iconic moment occurred and image taken at the 1971 Ryder Cup in which Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer analyzed a putt during their team competition match for the United States team. The now paired rivals and giants of the game were often each other's competition, and although friendly on and off the course, did everything they could to defeat each other during tournament play. When it was all said and done they combined for 10 Masters titles and 25 majors. What began as great amount of mutual respect between the rivals from different backgrounds transpired into a lifelong friendship. The duo would go on to give the game of golf a great show for many decades. This limited edition Helen Rundell deluxe edition serigraph on panel has been signed by both Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus in gold marker, and was released in 2001. This limited edition #185/275 piece was one of Helen Rundell's most popular, selling out each of the 275 at the price of $3,000 each on her website. Frame is in good condition and measures 29 1/2" x 34 1/2."
