Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus Signed 1971 Ryder Cup 11x14 Oversize B&W Photo
An iconic moment occurred and image taken at the 1971 Ryder Cup in which Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer analyzed a putt during their team competition match for the United States team. With Arnie crouched down, here is the inverse of that image from that year's same international matches. Here is an oversize 11x14 photo of the shot signed by each in black sharpie. The now paired rivals and giants of the game were often each other's competition, and although friendly on and off the course, did everything they could to defeat each other during tournament play. When it was all said and done they combined for 10 Masters titles and 25 majors. What began as great amount of mutual respect between the rivals from different backgrounds transpired into a lifelong friendship.
