Arnold Palmer Signed Cherry Hills Logo Golf Ball - Site of 1960 U.S. Open Win

Arnold Palmer leaves us with his famed autograph on this Cherry Hills Country Club logo golf ball, a course that played host to one of the most memorable U.S. Opens in the storied history of the event. Palmer won the U.S. Open Championship in 1960, a year known for a farewell to legend Ben Hogan, and a welcoming for Jack Nicklaus. Let's not forget about Palmer and 'The Charge,' which came after Arnie came back from seven strokes back entering Sunday's round before he went on to register a final round of 65 to beat Nicklaus and the rest of the field. The King signed in black Sharpie above the logo.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their certification of its authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on Sunday, October 1st, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
