Arnold Palmer Signed 1997 Masters Full Embroidered Flag
This elusive and desirable clean 1997 embroidered center Masters flag was signed by the late, great Arnold Palmer with his patented flowing legible black sharpie scribe and ideal placement! The combination of rare flag coupled with the general of Arnie's Army robust black autograph makes this a highly coveted hobby entrant from the flag category with serious investment potential. Arnie prioritized making time for each fan and member of his army. He was generous with his legible penmanship, shaking hands and acknowledging galleries with a simple thumbs up and a smile. With that being said, the vast majority of collectors are still missing the Palmer single-signed undated flag found in this lot. Arnold Palmer won four Masters titles in the even years of 1958, 1960, 1962, and 1964. A patron magnet on the Augusta National Golf Club grounds, he is one of golf's most popular stars and its most important trailblazer, the first superstar of the sport's television age that began in the 1950's. A single-signed Arnold Palmer Masters Undated flag (much less 1997) remains a challenging combination, with the demand far exceeding the supply.
