It was a set that Arnold Palmer himself was personally involved in producing, replicating the weapons he went to battle with in his 'glorious and victorious years.' Commemorating the Arnold Palmer Golf Club Company, this set of 9 irons (2 Iron-Pitching Wedge) were crafted in the limited quantity of 1,000 to mimic the set that Palmer himself used for a period of time. A matching #384 number is found along the hosel of each iron, accompanied by the deluxe Arnold Palmer signed 1999 edition of 'A Golfer's Life' companion piece in this offering. As detailed in the accompanying lot photos, these clubs (and book for that matter) are in very good condition with the plastic wrap still intact on every head! Each iron contains an Arnold Palmer facsimile signature, with 'Original' below the stepdown on the sleek back of each head. The cast heads have a non-offset classic blade promoting the forged iron feel. The muscle-back irons are finished with Palmer's preferred Lamkin grip on True Temper shafts. This prized set of the 7-time major winner's limited edition #384 irons with a matching #384 'A Golfer's Life' reader will make the winning bidder feel like The King.
