Annika Sorenstam's First Woman in 50yrs To Play PGA Tour Event Rd 1 Official Scorecard - 2003 Colonial
When Annika was asked to look back at her historical 2003 Colonial Invitational PGA Tour start on the ten year anniversary, she didn't hold back and nor should she have. “It was a turning point for me,” Annika Sorenstam told GolfChannel.com. “It’s one of the highlights of my career.” Remarkably, presented here is a piece of history from that first round - Annika's used competitor 1st round scorecard reporting her 18 hole score breakdown of the 71, including a back 9 of 1-under 34. Annika signed it on the bottom right, playing with marker Dean Wilson that day on 5/22/2003. There were initially mixed emotions throughout the field that week, with perhaps the most resistance coming from Vijay Singh. “What is she going to prove by playing? rambled Singh. “She doesn’t belong out here. It’s ridiculous.” Looking back at the moment it was an extremely important one in professional golf. Inclusion and the breaking of boundaries continue to be driving forces of golf going forward and a necessary initiative for the governing bodies - especially the USGA. Sorenstam would miss the cut, Singh the mark, but golf would make great strides because of Sorenstam's 2003 Colonial Invitational start.

If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
