Al Geiberger Signed 'Mr. 59 Danny Thomas Classic' Scorecard Logo Golf Ball
The first-ever player to shoot 59, for Al Geiberger it came during the second round of the 1977 Memphis Classic at Colonial Country Club. Known as Mr. 59, he had 11 birdies and an eagle on the par-72 course. Here we have a signature golf ball with the 1977 tournament scorecard signed by Geiberger along with the "Mr. 59" notation in black marker.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
