A Trio of Vintage Novelty Promotional Golf Putters Featuring Heinz, J&B, and Canada Dry Branding
A trio of vintage novelty promotional golf putters featuring cast metal heads modeled after food and beverage products.
The first putter is designed to resemble a Heinz pickle. The cast metal head is finished in a textured green paint. The flat rear face of the putter head features incised lettering reading HEINZ. It is constructed with a gold-toned hosel and a black finished shaft. The handle is fitted with a black rubber grip featuring longitudinal grooves.
The second putter has a head shaped like a green liquor bottle representing J&B Scotch Whisky. The bottle shoulder is embossed with J&B. A multi-colored printed label identifies the product as Justerini and Brooks Ltd Rare Blended Scotch Whisky. The head is mounted on a chrome-finished stepped steel shaft with a black wrap-style rubber grip.
The third putter features a head in the shape of a green soda bottle for Canada Dry Ginger Ale. The head displays two decals, one for Canada Dry Ginger Ale and a smaller one with the slogan it is not too sweet. It is mounted on a dark-finished metal shaft with a black wrap-style rubber grip.
