A Trio of 2012 112th U.S. Open Official Annual Books Presented by Rolex
This lot consists of three official annual commemorative books for the 112th U.S. Open Championship, which took place in 2012 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California. These hardcover volumes are bound in a navy blue textured material with gilt-stamped text and borders. The front cover of each book displays the tournament logo and indicates the publication was presented by Rolex, featuring the brand's coronet logo. The spine is also gilt-stamped with the text 2012 U.S. Open. The interior content includes high-quality color photography of the tournament and the Lake Course, statistics produced by IBM, and course illustrations by Robin Moline. Page three features a printed introductory message and a reproduced signature from golf legend Arnold Palmer, referencing the victory of champion Webb Simpson. The books were published by IMG Worldwide Inc. for the United States Golf Association.
