A Pair of Paul Azinger Signed 2008 Ryder Cup Valhalla Golf Pin Flags JSA #AR65591 & #AR65392
This lot features two 18th hole pin flags from the 2008 Ryder Cup held at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. Both flags are signed in black marker by Paul Azinger, the captain of the winning United States team. Each item includes a James Spence Authentication (JSA) certification sticker in the lower-left corner with serial numbers W665191 and W665192.
The first flag is constructed of white nylon and features high-quality embroidered detailing. The central logo depicts the Ryder Cup trophy flanked by the United States and European Union flags. The words RYDER CUP are embroidered in gold-tone thread above the trophy, and VALHALLA is featured on an embroidered banner below. The number 18 is rendered in black embroidery in the upper right corner.
The second flag is constructed of yellow nylon and features screen-printed graphics of the same Ryder Cup trophy and flags logo. The text RYDER CUP and VALHALLA, along with the number 18, are printed in black.
Both flags include three brass-tone metal grommets along the left hoist edge for pin attachment. The flags are currently mounted on white backing boards for display purposes.
