A.G. Spalding & Bros Patent Hickory Club Straightener/Holder w/ Replacement Straps
This lot features a hickory golf club straightener patented in 1928 by Spalding. Spalding produced many clubs around the turn of the century, the problem with the hickory ones being they had the tendency to bend. Spalding developed this device to slowly straighten them back out. The straightener is made of pine and presents in excellent condition with two replacement straps that are not original to the piece in tact. This piece would add nicely to any hickory club collection. It measures 14" x 3 1/2."
