2006 The OPEN Championship at Royal Liverpool Series Badge - Seldom Seen - Tiger Woods Win
Thick, series weeklong badges such as these do not come up to auction and are seldom seen. The 'Row A Seat 92' is the pre-booked seat location at the 18th Green and witten in silver-tone print on the maroon badge with scalloped edges labeled 'Composite.' An emotional Tiger Woods lifted the Claret Jug in 2006 in what was his first major tournament win following the passing of his father. It was Woods' second consecutive Open Championship title and third overall. It remains in very good condition as detailed in the accompanying lot photos.
