1997 Tiger Woods 'Masterpiece' Nike Mini Poster Card - Rare
1980's and 90's mini poster promotional cards have been a hot sub-category in the card market, specifically top endorser in this space Nike and Michael Jordan. Raw and PSA encapsulated mini poster card examples featuring add campaigns of His Airness bring hundreds of dollars and occasionally top four figures. These were used by stores to show what the poster wrapped in a tube in which they were selling looked like opened up. Here is one of the early Tiger Woods Nike posters (1997) celebrating his first Masters win with a post-swing red-clad Bernie Fuch's artist depiction titled 'Masterpiece.' It was poster #5527 as also written in the white of the margin below, with this mini poster on thin paper preserved to excellent condition and measuring an oversize card 4x6."
