1997 Tiger Woods Toronto Star Golf 'Changing Face of Game' Masters Preview Magazine PSA 7.5
Just months into PSA grading and encapsulating magazines and the still less than mature category continues to grow. Like their 'oddball' or rare card contemporaries, newsstand magazines sans a subscription mailing label and regional magazines with a lower distribution number leading to desirability for those that have been preserved since print. Previewing the 1997 golf season and Masters tournament dated the same day (April 13th) as the final scoreboard was posted at Augusta National, Tiger Woods was advertised as 'Changing the Face of Game' by the Toronto Star. A close shot of the smiling 21-year-old topped this issue off. What was maybe the only magazine published on that Sunday which Tiger made history is presented here from nearly 30 years ago with a 7.5 grade.
