1995 U.S. Open Centennial Championship Shinnecock Hills Art Portfolio Signed Kenneth Reed Number 438 of 500
This limited edition golf art portfolio commemorates the 1995 U.S. Open Centennial Championship held at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. Designated as a Super Deluxe Edition, this example is hand-numbered 438 from a total edition of 500. The portfolio contains four fine art prints reproduced from original watercolor paintings by artist Kenneth Reed, FRSA. Each print focuses on a notable feature of the course: Lowlands (8th hole), Road Side (13th hole), Sebonac (15th hole), and Shinnecock (16th hole). The set is contained within a deep green cloth-bound presentation case with gold foil stamping and a matching hardcover portfolio that features a textured black spine. The spine is decorated with the United States Golf Association (USGA) seal and the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club Indian Head logo. The title page is hand-signed by the artist and includes the hand-written edition number. The work was published for the USGA by Old Troon Sporting Antiques in Troon, Scotland. The lot includes the original cardboard shipping and storage container which bears a matching edition number.
