1988 This Is Saint Andrew's by Ford Frick 100th Anniversary Reprint Edition
A commemorative historical pamphlet titled This Is Saint Andrew's, written by Ford Frick. This edition is a reprint produced in 1988 by Gazette Press Inc., Yonkers, New York, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The booklet was originally written in 1973 for the club's 85th anniversary. The octavo-sized work is staple-bound in textured light blue paper wrappers. The front cover features a black circular logo depicting a golf flag marked with a saltire and the letter G. The interior includes an introductory page noting the reprint was issued by Dr. and Mrs. Paul J. Rosch. A black-and-white frontispiece photograph illustrates golf being played in America in 1888, featuring John Reid and others on the four-hole Yonkers course. The main text is titled Memories of a Golden Age and provides a historical narrative of the club's development from its origins to its move to Mt. Hope.
