1987 Sportsmen "Golf" 1892 Vanity Fair Reproduction John Ball Print - Framed
Vanity fair would routinely publish illustrations in their magazine that covered various topics in the 1890’s. Among these topics drawn and depicted were men and women of influence in golf. The chosen subject in this lot was John Ball on March 5, 1892, reprinted in 1987. Ball won the 1890 Open Championship along with eight Amateur Championships and is inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. It is matted and framed to 13" x 19."
