From the highly collectable golf tournament pewter plate set series comes this from the inaugural Legends of Golf tournament in 1978. That very tournament is said to have led to the creation of the Champions Tour. Gardner Dickinson and Sam Snead came away victorious in the event. Onion Creek Golf Club, founded by Jimmy Demaret and Jimmie Connolly in 1974, hosted the event for over 10 years. 11" diameter
