1974 Babe Didrikson Zaharias Oil On Canvas Painting Signed by Artist Betty Magner

The late Zaharias excelled in golf, basketball, baseball and won two gold medals in the 1932 Olympics in track and field competitions. She passed away at the young age of 45 in 1956. During her golfing career Babe Zaharias was victorious 41 times on the LPGA tour, with 10 of those being major victories. This offering is for an original post swing painting of Babe Zaharias composed primarily of the soft hues of blue, green and pinks. The reverse includes notes from the artist. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
