1970 Masters Tournament Sunday Serviceman Gallery Badge
Spectator gallery badge for the final round of the 1970 Masters Tournament held at Augusta National Golf Club on Sunday, April 12, 1970. The badge is a Serviceman issue, which required the bearer to be in military uniform. Metal grommet with a brown circular patch and the original knotted attachment string remain intact. The front of the badge displays the number 61 and the ANGC logo. The 1970 Masters was the final year a Monday playoff was utilized to determine the winner, with Billy Casper defeating Gene Littler. The item remains in solid condition at least at the excellent level.
