1969 Masters Champ George Archer Signed Top-Flite XL Tour Trajectory Golf Ball
Those that pursued autographs from George Archer over his PGA and Senior Tour careers found him agreeable to signing if asked, but he didn't put himself in the place to be asked often. Following Archer's passing in 2005, his wife helped clear up what seemed to be aloofness from George with fans. He was illiterate with a severe form of learning impairment. Only being able to write his own name and read the simplest sentences. True challenges in day-to-day life were carried for Archer who rose above them on the golf course highlighted by his 1969 Masters championship. Offered here in black fiber-tip marker is a golf ball signed by Archer. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph, and their auction house letter of authenticity comes with item.
