1966/67 Original PING Scottsdale Anser V 6 by Karsten
Up for auction is an ultra rare RH 35 inch 1966/7 Version 6 Scottsdale Anser putter. Everything but the
grip is original - head, shaft, shaft sticker. Putters head has lovely patina and only
mars are those from the wet casting process used to produce these heads. Shaft is stepped steal with a
chrome coating, a first step of 10 inches and an original Ping Scottsdale shaft sticker. Scottsdale Ansers
are highly sought after collectables and ones in this condition rarely come up for auction, especially the
ultra rare Version 6, one of the first putters to bear Karsten's name and right behind the two Gary Player
Scottsdale Anser putters, Versions 7 & 8. Included is a time-period PING replacement grip as shown in the photo. Same as Version 6, both putters have the 10 inch first step.
The Scottsdale Anser is the most replicated putter style to date - here's the very tough version 6. Own a rare piece of putting history.
