1960 Masters Tournament Final Rd Ticket #2235 - Arnold Palmer Winner
The King was clutch at the 1960 Masters Tournament, carding birdies on the final two holes to defeat Ken Venturi by a single stroke. This was Arnie's second of four Masters victories, and second of seven career Major championships. This 1960 Masters Tournament Sunday Final Round ticket allowed a patron to witness the thrilling finish. In a strange turn of events, second round leader Dow Finsterwald self-reported his first-round rules violation of practice putting on the green following the conclusion of a hole. This costed him his two-stroke lead on the field of -5 and now tied with others at -3 chasing the new leader, Arnold Palmer. As depicted in the accompanying lot photos the orange and red ticket comes in good condition, with only condition detractors being small blemishes in the upper corners stated for merely accuracy purposes. Masters tickets from Palmer's four victories are challenging to come by due to scarcity and an ever growing "Arnies Army."
