1959 Bob Goalby Vintage Kodak Roll Film Negatives
A roll of processed film negatives featuring American professional golfer Bob Goalby, dated June 5, 1959. The negatives are housed in their original laboratory storage sleeve and tan paper backing. The yellow paper outer sleeve features handwritten identification with the subject listed as Bob Goalby and the date as 1959 5-Jun. The internal stiffener/spool includes printed Kodak branding and promotional text reading FOR BEST RESULTS WITH Kodak FILM... Let us on Kodak VELOX Paper. Additional printed markings on the yellow sleeve include instructions to ORDER REPRINTS BY NEGATIVE NUMBER and DO NOT CUT NEGATIVES, along with a PRINTED IN U.S.A. mark. Goalby joined the PGA Tour in 1957; these negatives capture him during the third year of his professional career, nearly a decade prior to his 1968 Masters Tournament victory. The roll appears to be in a medium format such as 120 or 620 film.
