1959 Ben Hogan Top Flight Stars No. 15 Golf Trading Card
A vintage color-lithographed cigarette card featuring American professional golfer Ben Hogan. This card is number 15 from a series of 25 issued by the Makers of Top Flight Cigarettes. The front displays a multi-image composition: a larger action illustration shows Hogan mid-swing in a sand trap wearing a brown sweater and gray trousers, while a smaller inset portrait in the upper left corner shows a smiling close-up of Hogan against a yellow background. The reverse is printed in black ink with a distinctive paperclip graphic in the upper left corner above the series title "TOP FLIGHT STARS". The text identifies the subject as "Ben Hogan" and provides a biographical summary stating he is aged 48 and lists his professional achievements, including U.S. Open victories in 1948, 1950, 1951, and 1953, his 1953 British Open win at Carnoustie, and his Ryder Cup team memberships. The card is composed of a stiff cream-colored cardstock. Condition is very good. Please see the photos for a more complete condition report..
