1953 US Open at Oakmont Country Club Official Badge #108 - Ben Hogan Record Tying 4th Win

The 1953 season marked Hogan's most dominant year of his career. His victory in the 1953 Open was also dominant, with Hogan firing an opening round 67 to establish a lead he held from start-to-finish as the only player to better par for the 72 holes (-5) posting a six shot win over second-place finisher Sam Snead. The win at Oakmont Country Club in 1953 marked Hogan's fourth and final U.S. Open triumph. Presented in this lot is a desirable 1953 U.S. Open Official Badge - #108. The badge retains its rich navy color and the reverse displays that the original pin is still intact, although only remnants of a once attached ribbon remain. This exceptional 2 1/4" diameter keepsake is a must have for U.S. Open, Oakmont and Hogan collectors alike.

Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, April 8th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow.
